Today we went in to Brownsville for some groceries, the market there seems bigger than the one in Oregon House. We hadn’t been to Brownsville, CA before, it is a very small town about 8 miles north of the campground. The road is windy but it’s a very pretty drive through the pines. Once we were there we decided to have breakfast at Bonnie Lou’s café and then it was back to the trailer.Tonight we went to a Spaghetti Dinner hosted by the Dobbins/Oregon House Volunteer Fire Department held here at the park. They had quite a feed! A lot of people attended, most from the surrounding community. There was a raffle and a silent auction. Even as we drove back to the trailer there were a number of cars heading in for the dinner. I hope it was a great success for them!
