Getting ready to leave Lake Whitney

The snow is long melted here at Thousand Trails Lake Whitney in Texas. We’ve had a few sunny days and now they are predicting rain and possibly more snow on Tuesday. Since we are leaving tomorrow we will miss the snow if they get some. Fine with me, we got to enjoy the pretty falling snow already!

I thought I would post a few photos of the park without the snow. I’ve also included a couple pics of a fox we saw here at the park. Unfortunately the fox shots are a bit fuzzy, I took them through our back window at dusk and the fox was moving. It was pretty cool, I was computing and looked up, glancing out the window, and there was the fox trotting down the street! I’ve never seen a fox in the wild before. Happily the camera was right beside me so I grabbed it and snapped away. :o)

When your computer is right next to a window, there's no telling what you'll get to see! How exciting for you!
Got to have your camera at your side at all times!

Very true! I was so glad the camera was right there and ready to go.

Hi.... i was surfing around online today looking for blogs about people living and traveling around in RV's. I came across yours.

I especially liked the previous posts as they illustrate the different things people are doing, the successes/questioning etc.

I am working at putting a resource site up for RVing and would love to repost some of your blog items there.

The site is www.rvingcentral.com. Essentially I'm trying to build up stories, resources all with the aim to provide people inspiration so they take the plunge and live the dream!

If you feel you'd like to participate, you can email me at info@rvingcentral.com, or just reply to the comment and i should get that.

Thanks!

We're fine, I've just been taking a blog-break! Thanks for asking though. I'll be posting again soon.
