Snow at Thousand Trails Lake Whitney

Well...our best estimate is we got about 5-6 inches of snow yesterday. Today it is slowly melting away. The roads in the park are manageable, I drove down to the laundry room this morning and didn't slip too much. Of course an empty pickup is the worst on snow but I didn't have far to drive. I had to laugh when I got back from doing laundry...our neighbor obviously enjoyed the snow...his creation is pictured below along with a couple pics of our trailer in the snow.

By looking at your pictures instead of going south you should probably stay north. We have had a mild winter this year and flowers are starting to come forth. Lets hope we don't have a freeze with stuff blooming. I found your site by accident one night and see your from Benton City. I am in Richland.

Hi Steve -- You are right, north had the better weather! Oh well!! I'm sure we will visit Richland this summer. Dinner at Casa Mia is always on our list when we are in the area. Thanks for stopping by the blog.

Wow! Who knew??? It's really beautiful, isn't it?
What did Chey think about it???

Cheye loved it! I let her off the leash (shhhhh.... don't tell) in a little field in the park. She would bite the snow and run in circles. Finally she slipped coming down a little hill and did a face plant, got up wagging her tail, looking a bit sheepish, and ran some more. She is such fun!
