Some books and some Christmas

This morning we decided to go in to the town of Camp Verde just to see what was there. It is about 2 miles from the campground and is a cute little town. We saw a used book store and decided to drop in there. It had quite a few books and was combined with an arts store so it was fun to look at what the local artists had created along with looking for a couple books. We made our selections and went to the cash register, we had mentioned to the clerk earlier that we were RVer’s and while making our purchase she asked what park we were staying at. When we told her Western Horizon we found out our books were ½ price! We may go back there soon!

After lunch I baked some brownies in anticipation of the Christmas decorating party tonight. They were going to serve soup and bread and everyone was to bring a dessert to share. It sounded like fun so we went and did enjoy ourselves. We met a few more people and enjoyed helping out with the decorating.
