Foggy Start

It was a foggy morning, but since there was a NASCAR race on TV today Dave was hoping to get down to the beach early. About 9:00 a.m., in the fog, we went to the beach so Cheye could have a good soggy time and we could have a walk. Cheye spotted something floating out in the breakers, it ended up being a buoy with a piece of plastic attached and Cheye was extremely curious about it. She finally got close enough to smell it but couldn’t figure out how to get it in her mouth to bring it to us. I have video of it I’ll share tomorrow.

We watched the NASCAR race during which Dave did some computing and I worked on video editing. I also took Cheye for a couple walks. On our second walk we found Sue and Snickers outside so we sat down and chatted. Dave found us a while later, after a little more chatting we headed home for dinner and the football game. Besides that it was a quiet day. It ended up being a beautiful sunny day too.

Today’s video is highlights of the Aquarium at Newport. I guess the correct name is the Oregon Coast Aquarium, I called it the Newport Aquarium yesterday... oops.

photos all taken at Oregon Coast Aquarium:
Top: little Stingrays
Middle: Seahorse
bottom: Jellyfish
