Pacific City Oregon, again

We are back at Thousand Trails in Pacific City. We stopped at Camping World along the way and picked up a 27 gallon Smart Tote...basically it is a towable plastic container you can empty the waste water tanks in to and then take it down to the dump station. The Thousand Trails parks we have been to have very few sites with sewer hook-up. Because of this you either have to be very careful with your water or pack up the trailer and drive it down to the dump station when you fill up your tanks. Then you get to go back and set up. Now we have a way to empty some waste water without that much work. We also bought an outdoor mat, kinda like a outdoor carpet and a few miscellaneous things.

Our route today was very pretty but interesting...shades of South Dakota roads...we went across 3 one lane bridges. Luckily there was almost no traffic and luckily for me Dave was driving!

We got in about 2:00 and ended up in the exact same site we were at last time we were here. We had a late lunch and then vegged out for the afternoon. After dinner we took a nice long walk. Cheyenne is on Chipmunk overload. I think there are more than the last time we were here, more bunnies too. I’m looking forward to getting out on the beach tomorrow. The weather site says in the 70’s with broken clouds... I’m hoping they are right!
