Chehalis Thousand Trails

We traveled North today to the Chehalis Thousand Trails campground. This one is beautiful like the one at Pacific City. Actually this is the original 1000 Trails campground set in a beautiful wooded area. We picked a site and as we pulled in we noticed the people next to us were at Long Beach while we were there! And then as we set up camp a deer wandered into the site on our other side and grazed on some leaves and grass... what a welcome!

Once we got set up here we ate some lunch and later we went out for a little walk. This is a large park so we just went around the upper sections. Later we walked down to the Store and pool area, very nice! Tonight we grilled burgers and for desert I’m baking some brownies. I haven’t baked in the propane oven much, we have a little electric toaster/convection oven I normally use. However tonight it will be the propane oven because a 9x13 pan won’t fit in the electric oven... a new experience!

I received quite the compliment by email yesterday, rvresources.com features a “RVer of the Month” and they picked our blog site for August 2008! I was very surprised and pleased. I have fun putting the blog together and deciding what to write about, it’s really nice to know that others are enjoying it. Thanks RV Resources and all of you that follow along!

I know I’ve said it before but this lifestyle is just so fun! I still feel like a kid getting away with something. It’s nice to meet people that have been fulltiming for years and I hope we are able to do the same. There is a lot of places to see in the USA and I’d like to see them all!

Hi Lori,

Congratulations on your success with your Blog. I agree that you totally deserve the credit - you make for intersting and fun reading. I have been ill this past month, so we have not been able to get out in our RV. Reading what you are doing is like traveling along for the ride. I especailly enjoy your trips to the coast, as I am in the hot desert of So. Cal. The videos are like being there! Thanks so much for being real and letting all of us in our your life. Keep up the good work!
